He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mikulencak; his children, Charles "Mike" Michalec Jr. (Karen) and Cynthia Edgar (John); and his siblings, Anton Michalec, Georgia Bohuslav (Frank), Annette Raab (Quinton), Elsie Barta and Susette Ochoa (Ernest). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
