He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludmilla Vasek Brown and Clarence W. Brown; his brothers, Vernon (Dorothy) and Marvin; his grandson James Alton Myrick; and his nephews, Ronald Brown and Charles "Chuck" Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Webb Brown; his children, Linda Brown Myrick and Alton E Brown Jr (Shelly); his grandchildren, Keri Myrick, Toni Brown Harding (Michael), Alton E Brown III, Aidan Brown, Jared and KarlyAnne Lowery; his great grandchild Brysen Janak; and his siblings, Lucille Bujnoch, Bernice Woytek, Margaret Brown Hines (Cowboy), Delores Kutach (Steve) and Clarence Brown (Beatrice). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
