He was predeceased by: his parents, Florencio Hinojosa and Juanita Hinojosa. He is survived by: the mother of his child Lupe Vasquez of Lubbock; his daughter Sarah Baca (Fabian) of Lubbock; his siblings, Bobby Hinojosa of Plainview, Jimmy Hinojosa of Paducah, Ronnie Quintanilla, Linda Guerrero of Paducah and Norma Davis of Iowa; and his grandchildren, Cristofer Baca and Harleigh Baca.

“I saw and talked to Rudy on December 28, 2023. He was having lunch at Empire Buffet in Plainview. He was so sweet and smiling like he always did. I am so shocked and sadden about him being called by The Lord. But I know that there must be a lot of roofs in Heaven for him to fix. May The Good Lord look upon this family with love and compassion. And may this family look upon The Good Lord with undying faith and love.”
