He was predeceased by: his fathers, Lewis Carr and Eldridge Carr (Paxton); and his siblings, Clarence, David, Lewis Jr. and Daisy Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Carr of Hale Center; his children, Steve Carr (Lana) of Burleson, Cheryl Waldrop of Amarillo and Diane Woodward (Ric) of Denton; his grandchildren, Chris Waldrop, Beau Waldrop, Hilary Carr, Jonathan Carr, Ryan Woodward and Katie Sieben; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Jordan, Brayden, Patrick, Chase, Nash and Avery.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ramage Funeral Directors (223 Main St, Hale Center, TX 79041). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (305 W 6th St, Hale Center, TX 79041).
