He is survived by: his grandson Raygan Ellis; his wife Penora Bowen of Hale Center; his daughters, Pam Greenhaw (Jerald) of Cotton Center and Lisa Ellis (Zane) of Idalou; his stepsons, Les Compton (Vicky) of Palestine and Doug Compton of Brush; his brothers, Morris Bowen (Billie Ruth) of Tyler and Larry Bowen (Suzanne) of Lubbock; his brother-in-law Earl Steen of Plainview; his grandchildren, Amy Dulin, Amber Carpio and Linsee Kitchens (Chance); and his great grandchildren, Mattix, Mattison, Ayden, Ashtyn, Javyn, Alex, Khloe, Max, Holt, Raylee and Laurel. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
