He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sherri Sue Seago; his parents, Jimmy C. Lester and Flossie Mae Cotney Lester; his sister Helen Lester Gamblin; his son-in-law Mark Gunter; and his children, Sherri Gunter, Debbie (Kelley Adcock), Terri (Ben Schmalzried), Daviddie Lester and Joe (Elisa Lester).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pettit Baptist Church, or either of the Gustine or Energy Volunteer Fire Departments.
