With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Darrell Reed of Gunter, Texas, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar Reed and Leda Stroud Reed; his friend J. C. Payne of Gunter, TX.; his brother John L. Reed (Loveta Reed); his parents-in-law, Dee and Sallie Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Vivian Thomas Armstrong and Winston Wester.
He is survived by: his aunt Lou Reed; his great-uncle Robert Rutherford; his wife Mary Thomas Reed of Gunter, TX.; his daughters, Ginny Reed Wise (John) of McKinney, TX, Dara Reed Arrington (Dean) of Gunter, TX and Jodie Reed Smith (Jason) of Texarkana, TX; his brothers, Robert Reed (Nell) of Collinsville, TX. and Curtis Reed (Dorothy) of Gunter, TX.; his grandchildren, Jared Burfield, Michael Burfield, Viviana Burfield, Joshua Arrington, Lindsey Arrington, Jacob Arrington, Jordan Ateek, CJ Ateek, Reed Smith and Grayson Smith; and his great grandchildren, Carter Arrington and Cash Arrington. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
