He is survived by: his wife Shanie Schmitz of Sherman, Texas; his children, Garrett Schmitz of Sherman, Kaylee Schmitz of Sherman and Colton Schmitz of Sherman, Texas; his siblings, Lori Schmitz, Tina Blanton (Shelton) of Sherman, Misty Jernigan (Cedrick) of Sherman, Texas, Jeffrey Schmitz (Melissa) of Sherman, Joel Schmitz (Bree) of Southmayd, Texas and Becca Schmitz of Sherman, Texas; his parents-in-law, Merle and Cinda Russell of Gordonville, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Dusta Russell of Gunter, Texas and Jamie Russell (Dustee) of Pottsboro, Texas; and his stepfather Tim Fishpaw (Vicki) of Summerland Key, Florida. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, one great-nephew, cousins, and many, many friends.
