We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2024, at the age of 76, Irene Avery Simmons (Gunter, Texas), born in Salem, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Chase and Eunice Chase; her husband Daryl Simmons; her son Darren Simmons; and her parents-in-law, Harold and Laura Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Bennett (Richard) and Holly Garrett (Shane); her son-in-law Shawn Niebolte; her grandchildren, Kathleen Walters (Dustin), Regan Garrett, Matthew, Hallie, Ashley, Jesse and Brylee (Bennett); her great grandchild Kami; her grandchildren, Mika, Robert (Crosby), Dustin, Vanessa, Harlan, Kenson (Walters) and Aspen Bennett; her brother Bill Chase (Patty); her nieces and nephews, Mark Simmons (Julie), Shawn Simmons, Douglas Simmons, Kirsten Schirmer (Erik), Gretchen Walker (Shawn) and Meagan Simmons; and her pet Patches.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at 805 Block Rd, Gunter, TX 75058.
