He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Watson and Irene Watson; his brother Edward Watson; and his grandfather Bill. He is survived by: his children, Rosabel Watson and Kim Rowlands (Steve) of Abilene; his grandsons, Nate of Melbourne and Will of Abilene; his daughter-in-law Margaret Metcalf-Watson; and his granddaughters, Shawn and Kelly Watson of Albuquerque. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Southern Hills Church of Christ (3666 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79605).
In lieu of flowers, Bill's desire was for money to be donated to mission work.
