He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Watson and Irene Watson; his brother Edward Watson; and his grandfather Bill. He is survived by: his children, Rosabel Watson and Kim Rowlands (Steve) of Abilene; his grandsons, Nate of Melbourne and Will of Abilene; his daughter-in-law Margaret Metcalf-Watson; and his granddaughters, Shawn and Kelly Watson of Albuquerque. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Bill's desire was for money to be donated to mission work.
