With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Danny Sager Jr. (Gun Barrel City, Texas), born in Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dan Sager and Opal Blalock Sager; and his brother Kenneth C. Sager. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Spillers Sager; his children, Kimberlie Sasan (Hement Sasan), Tristan Sager of Keller, Texas, Candice Sager of Attalla, Alabama and Misty Tarrance of Amarillo, Texas; and his siblings, Doris Sager Tuten of Athens, Alabama, Cathy Sager Redmon of Fircrest, Washington and James T. Sager of Madison, Alabama. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and extended family.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their local no-kill animal shelter in Bob's name.
