He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Florence Greenwood (McKenzie); his wife Mary Lou Greenwood; his children, Linda Wright and Mark Greenwood; his parent Artie Greenwood; and his sister Shirley Asher.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Jean Smith, Rita Mae Overstreet (Johnny), Michelle Sanford and Artie Jack Greenwood, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Gregory, Melissa, Amanda, Belinda, Miranda, Barbara, Mark Anthony II, Charlie, Kenny and Chad. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and adored nieces, nephews.
