He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Dahl and Esther Dahl; and his sister Louella Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Suellen Hawkins; his children, Wade Dahl (Angie) of Wimberley, Texas, Brenda Hopkins (Bud) of Gruver and Scot Dahl (Ginger) of Talcott, WV; his siblings, Mavis Floyd of Gruver and Loren Dahl (Evelyn) of Amarillo; his granddaughter Jennifer Zinkgraf (Bill) of Wimberley; his great grandchildren, Ava, Bella and Rosie; his granddaughter Julie Arcos (John) of Kingsbury; his great grandchildren, Easton and Ellie; and his grandchildren, Jantsen Dahl of Wimberley, Hunter Hopkins (Jacey) of Wellington, Caleb Dahl, Tiffany York, Sara, Hannah, Elisha, Gabriel and Grace Evans.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert's name may be given to the Gruver FFA , Gruver United Methodist Church, or Gruver Cemetery Association.
