He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman O. Byrd and Bertha Byrd (Dethloff); and his wife Wilma. He is survived by: his children, Mike Byrd of Lubbock and Pat (Mark Irwin) of Gruver; and his grandsons, Kyle Irwin (Kimberly) of Gruver, Ty Byrd of Glenrose, TX. and Matt Byrd. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
