She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy Thompson and Winnie Faye Thompson (Thomasson); her husband Rudy Garza; and her siblings, Henry Dale Thompson and Lucille Thompson.
She is survived by: her sister Victoria Thompson; her nieces, Cathy Czajkowski of Groveton, Elaine Gerren (Kenny) of Breemond and Laura Ecker of Indianapolis, Indiana; her nephew Mark Wayne McCool of Oxford, Wisconsin; and her brother-in-law Edmond McCool of Groveton, Texas. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
