He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff McFarland and Ethel McFarland (Clark); his wife Frances Lucy Kayser; and his brother Charles Roland. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip (Patricia) of Deer Park, TX, Ricky (Wilma) of Lufkin, TX, Gary (Renee) and Christopher of Groveton, TX.; his grandchildren, Sherri Burrows (Ryan), Jeff McFarland (Kortney), Jamie McFarland, Amy McFarland (Scott Wilson), Travis McFarland, Amber Gall (Gina), Chuck McFarland and Sam McFarland; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Alyssa, Emma, Peyton, Emily, Bradley, Daniel and Lara; and his siblings, Nellie Sykes, Carrol (Buddy), David and Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
