With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn Marvin Thompson of Groveton, Texas, born in Crockett, Texas, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Eldridge Thompson and Jeannette Smith Thompson Cook; and his siblings, Mary Nell Doyle, Freda Thompson, Dan Thompson and John Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Thompson of Groveton, TX; his children, Angela Lynn Thompson (Brian Dudek) of Fort Collins, CO and Brandon Michael Thompson (Joni Thompson) of Cleveland, TX; his grandchildren, Owen, Logan, Connor, Baya and Harper; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Doyle (Bertha) of Friday, TX, Joy Thompson of Flat Prairie, TX, Dorothy Thompson of Flat Prairie, TX, Mattie Dominy of Friday, TX and Nelda Gracia of Houston, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
