He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Lonzo Meador and Pearl Lamar (Humphreys); and his siblings, Marie Lacy, Myrtle Lowery and E. B. Meador.
He is survived by: his husband Steve Rapae; his grandchildren, Brittani Meador, Ashley Meador, Jessica White, Dylan Rapae and Noah Meador; and also, Bobby Stratton, Kevin Stratton, Travis Stratton, Ryan Elliot, Steve Meador and Blair Quinney. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, thirteen step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
