It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Eugene Syzdek (Groveton, Texas), who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leo Ike. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Syzdek (Melcer) of Houston, Texas.; his sons, Shannon (Debbie), Brandon and Clayton; his grandchildren, Eric, Kalyn, Justin, Kevin, Dougles, Madi, Samuel and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Eric, Gauge, AnaBella, Lyric, Rylan, Damien and Donivin; his siblings, Sharon Syzdek Lindley, Claudia (Chuck Volkert), Patricia (Steve Edwards), Judy (Randy Jackson) and Joel (Patty Syzdek); and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen (Kent Gibbons). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
