With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Elizabeth Carter of Groveton, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Lee and Zola Edmondson Wyatt Lee; her husband Charles Bond Carter; and her brothers, John Newton Wyatt (Marie Ivins Wyatt), Tom Wylie Wyatt (Margie Jones Wyatt), Robert Wesley Wyatt (Doris Fender Wyatt) and Charles William "Buck" Lee.
She is survived by: her son Charles Bond "Chuck" Carter Jr.; her sister Edna Ruth Lee Trotter; and her sister-in-law Sarah Bennett Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives, and friends.
