Maye Hanson Obituary

The memory of Maye Hanson (Groves, Texas), who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Hanson; and her parents, Eben Taylor York and Bertha York. She is survived by: her children, Glenda Soileau (Gary), Kathy Viator (Victor), Brenda Duhon (Mike) and Ray McCelland (Christian); her stepdaughters, Rebecca Holbrook (Trent) and Donna Hanson; and her grandchildren, Jason Duhon, Bobby Duhon, Regina Trahan, Anthony Trahan, April Duhon, Darrell Lowe, Jeremy Lowe, June McClelland and Corbyn Lowe.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clayton - Thompson Funeral Directors (5200 W Parkway St, Groves, TX 77619). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
