He was predeceased by: his son Eric John Carlsen; and his sisters, Carolyn Schultz and Jane Short. He is survived by: his wife Marga Carlsen; his daughter Christa Paige Bessell (Eric) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Cody John Carlsen, Conner Carlsen Kelly (Aaron), Logan Bessell (Alysa), Brandt Bessell and Merrick Bessell.
In honor of Bill's memory, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, a cause close to his heart.
