He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Thompson, Sr. and Ethel Thompson; and his brothers, Pat Thompson, Jr. and William "Bubba" Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Tonie Thompson of Groves; his children, James K. Thompson (Shawntaul) of Orange, Jerry E. Thompson (Allison) of Groves, Terry G. Thompson (Jeff Anderson) of San Antonio and Melissa R. Halbert of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Savannah Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Drake Thompson, Tyler Thompson and Megan Thompson; and his great grandchild Calder Thompson.
