We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 83, Daniel R. Brooks (Groves, Texas), born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Brooks; his daughters, Debra D. Killian and Vicki J. Pappas; and his parents, Daniel Pittman Brooks, Jr. and Grace C. Sellars.
He is survived by: his children, Autumn Hibbits (Thomas) of Montgomery, Texas and Daniel Patrick Brooks (Amanda) of Alice Springs, Australia.; his grandchildren, Victoria Brooks, Daniel Brooks, Jr., Chase Brooks, Chelsea N. Carlin, Michael Mellema and Zachary Killian; and his great grandchildren, Austin Randall, Avery Randall, Ashtin Randall and Mia Carlin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Levingston Funeral Home - Groves (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
