She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Rodenberry and Mary Cecile Sanders Rodenberry; and her brother Charles Rodenberry. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Gene Jones of Groves; her children, Sharon Knighton of Groves, Randy Jones of Katy and Garrett Jones; her daughter-in-law Rebecca of Nederland; her grandchildren, Heather Knighton Lovelace, Isabel Jones and Cassidy Jones; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Garcia and Haisley Lovelace Knighton; her brother Howard Rodenberry (Marie) of Carlyss, Louisiana.; and her caregivers, Martina Cunningham and Lucita Wilson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (3900 Twin City Hwy, Groves, TX 77619).
