It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Mae Leatherwood of Groom, Texas, born in Olney, Texas, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin W. Helton and Thelma Rheudean Helton (Woolfolk). She is survived by: her husband Steve Leatherwood of Olney; her daughters, Samantha (Michael Stuhlman) and Tiffany Leatherwood of Olney, Texas; her grandchild Skyla Stuhlman of Weatherford, Texas; her sister Vickye; her brother-in-law Ed Shultz of Aledo, Texas; her brother Wayne; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Helton of Grand Prairie, Texas. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
