It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Anderwald of Groom, Texas, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fern Anderwald to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Knutson and Annette Knutson; her husband Tommy Anderwald; her son Charles Jackson; and her grandsons, Robert Wayne Jackson, Andrew Rapstine and Aaron Anderwald.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Jackson (Phillis) of Groom and Twila Jo Jackson; her stepchildren, Robert Anderwald of Pampa and Carolyn Rapstine (Gregory) of White Deer; and her grandchildren, Kristi Parrott, Dean Jackson, Chy Jackson, Martie Jo Phillips, Ashley Cockrell, Rick York, Carmel Dickerman, Mike Rapstine, Chris Rapstine, Theresa Rapstine Schafer and Angie Rapstine Lindgren. She is also survived by many Great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Groom ambulance service and Fire department.
