She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gilbert Hughes and Ruby Madelle Hughes (Engram); her husband Harold Bumpurs; and her brothers, Joe "Huck" Hughes and Ulmer "Rastus" Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughter Kellye Nix; her son-in-law Jeremy Lindley of Old Union; her siblings, Patsy Green of Old Union and Elbert "Butch"; her sister-in-law Alma Hughes of Oletha; her sister Linda Meredith of Groesbeck; her nieces and nephews, Terry Strickler, Scott Green, Edgar Green, Elaine Long (Trent), Cynthia Noey, Kevin Hughes, Chris Meredith (Becky), Kolby Morgan (Mika) and Heather Rone (Scott); her close friends, Bertha Allen and Stanley Cotton; and her pet Bubba Bumpers. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
