She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gilbert Hughes and Ruby Madelle Hughes (Ingram); her siblings, Huck Hughes, Rastus Hughes and Polly Bumpers; and her husband Michael "Mickey" Owen Green of Mexia.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Strickler of Weatherford and Scott Green of Pflugerville; her grandchildren, Eddy Green of Groesbeck, Ashley Deluna (Myles) of Weatherford and Logan Stricker (Nia) of Weatherford; her great grandchild Marley Deluna of Weatherford; her brother Butch; her sister-in-law Alma Hughes of Thornton; and her sister Linda Meredith of Groesbeck. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Union Cemetery.
