She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Gordon Smith and Estelle Ione Smith (Phillips); her brother Leslie Gordon Smith, Jr.; her sister-in-law Nita Smith; her sister Dorothy Crocker; and her brothers-in-law, D. J. Crocker and John Jarvis.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Eakins of Groesbeck and Peggy S.; her son-in-law R. T. Beck, Jr. of Groesbeck; her son Gary W.; her daughter-in-law Gloria Eakins of Groesbeck; and her siblings, Shirley Jarvis of Groesbeck, Larry W. Smith of Mexia, Tommy G. Smith (June) of Frisco, Judy E. Turk of Rosenberg and Barbara Davis of Ft. Worth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
