He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Beard and Hester L. Beard; his wife Sue Beard; his son Tommy Beard; his daughter-in-law Lori Beard; and his sister Louise Kinsley.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Thomas Curry), Gary (Liz Beard) and David (LaVonza Beard); his great great grandchildren, Alison, Kelly, Blake, Jarrod, Sarah, James, Clayton, Justin, Kevin, Emily, Mackenzie, Gavin, Kasen, Jackson, Jacob, William, Nova, Killian, Piper, Katelynn, Riley, Easton and Grayson; his sister Sarah Craig; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon and George Warlick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
