He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Hobert "Jack" Thomas and Thelma Faye Thomas (Favors); his wife Brenda Gail of Mexia; and his siblings, Edward Lee Farmer and Audrey Faye Rand.
He is survived by: his sister Thelma Theresa Dick; his children, Laura Ann Bridges of Waco and George Smity Thomas, Jr.; his granddaughter Kristy Renee Kitchens; and his great grandchildren, Jaylen Jerome Abor and Jordan Oneal Abor.
