He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Smyers; his sons, William J. Smyers (Jessie), Corey R. Smyers (Vanessa) and Christopher R. Smyers; and his brother Thomas Smyers (Roberta). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
