Alan Reed Holmes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Reed Holmes of Groesbeck, Texas, who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Holmes and Iva Holmes (Pringle) of Thornton, TX.; and his siblings, Larry Glenn Holmes (Buddy), Barbara Jean Holmes and Linda Louise Holmes Pelton.
He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Marie Holmes Kilpatrick (June); his son Paul Cox; and his nieces and nephews, Steven Kilpatrick of Columbus, Scott Kilpatrick of Columbus, Suzanne Dabney (Dennis) of Cold Spring, TX and Sheri Peters (Leonard) of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to First United Methodist Church of Thornton, or any charity of your choice.
