She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Veliz (Ruiz) and Ruperto Veliz; her husband Alfredo Flores Garcia, Sr.; her son Alfredo Garcia, Jr.; her grandchildren, Samantha Raquel Ruiz and Frank Isaac Ruiz; and her siblings, Humberto Veliz, Andres Veliz, Ruben Veliz, Aurora Veliz and Elida Villgran.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leticia Garcia, Noemi Garcia of Gregory, Texas, Senaida Saenz (Jaime) of Katy and Linda Arguello of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, Liana Saenz, Jacob Saenz, Alfredo Garcia, III (Stacey), Tony Garcia (Brittany), Julia Ann Ruiz, Leticia Villanueva (Alex), Stephen Ruiz (Bailey), Martha Ruiz, Balencia Ruiz (Miguel), Claudio Ruiz, Chriselda Solis-Fuller (Christion), Riva Gomez (Jeff), Jose Solis, Jr. (Alanna) and Mariah Solis; and her siblings, Feliciano Veliz, Javier Veliz, Rumaldo Veliz of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Blanca Ruiz, Esperanza Ayala, Norma Medina (Luis) of Laredo, Irma Baldenegro (Jesus) of Austin and Ana Aguirre (Celso) of Durango, Mexico. She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 310 State St, Gregory, TX 78359. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
