Hector Bazan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hector Bazan (Gregory, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Bazan and Juanita Bazan; and his siblings, Jesse Bazan, Elena Bazan and Lydia Zambrano.
He is survived by: his wife Lile; his children, Virginia Ellyson, Patricia Cortez, Paul Bazan and Heather Bazan; his grandchildren, Scarlett, Jonah, Elena, Violet, Emilia, Avren and Mileena; his sons-in-law, Brannen Ellyson and Raymond Cortez Jr.; and his siblings, Ricardo, Carlos, Roland, Ivan (Sara), Larry (Idalia) and Rachel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (500 Wildcat Dr, Portland, TX 78374). A rosary will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (107 Church, Gregory, TX 78359). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gregory Cemetery (4934 US-181, Gregory, TX 78359).
