She was predeceased by: her parents, Valente Lara and Jesusa Lara; and her sisters, Theresa Leal, Anastasia and Elena Lara.

She is survived by: her husband Preciliano Sabedra (Percy); her brother Bene Lara Sr.; her children, Nelda S. Garcia (Gilbert), Oscar Roel Sabedra (Barbara), Rene Horace Sabedra (Barbara), Ida S. Garcia (Frank) and Vanessa S. Ashcraft (Mark); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Garcia (Kim), Isabella Sabedra, Matthew Sabedra and Marissa Sabedra. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
