He was predeceased by: his wife Elvira Lopez; and his sister Adelaida L. Perez. He is survived by: his children, Benito M. Lopez Jr. (Sara) of Gregory, TX and Melissa Salinas (Darrell) of Portland, TX; his grandchildren, Selena Baldera (Alex) and Isaiah Salinas; and his brother Valentine Lopez (Delia) of Plainview.
