She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Anderson and Rhoda Anderson (Harmon); her husband Richard Simmons (Paul); her son Stephen; and her siblings, Milford, Russell, William (Peanut), Melvin Jr., Vivian (Hoy), Mildred (Shertzer) and Gertrude (Wampler).
She is survived by: her children, Randall, Joy Petty (David), Dan and Roger; and her sister Janet Fiddler (Jack). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great- great- granddaughter.
