He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Quincy Brown and Ella Lois Brown (Knighton); his brother Paul; his great grandchild Trevor; and his brother-in-law Donnie Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Dallas; his children, Becki Knight (Glenn) of Watauga, Beverly Farnsworth (Jay) of Terre Haute, Tom Brown (Kristi) of Greenville and Peggy Esters (Dennis) of Union Valley; and his sisters, Shirley Martin of Greenville and Wanda Foster (George) of Benbrook, Texas.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
