He was predeceased by: his parents, Lura Chambliss and Charlie Chambliss; his wife Betty Chambliss; and his daughter Melody Rozell. He is survived by: his son Roy; his daughter-in-law Chris Chambliss Jr.; his daughters, Jan Buchanan, Nanette Jones and Chris Jones; his sister Evonna; and his grandchildren, Karen Giles, Matt Rozell Jr., Casey Cawthon, Alex Cawthon, Lee Jones, Kelsey Pierce, Sam Chambliss and Sabrina Chambliss. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
