He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Newell McGuffey and Jo Glen McGuffey; and his siblings, Jerry McGuffey and Nancy Medlin. He is survived by: his wife Cindy McGuffey of Greenville; his children, Joshua McGuffey of Greenville, Brandon Deaton (Khristy) of Rockwall and Brandeis Pierce (Nathan) of Greenville; his sister Hope Ann Moore (Mitch) of Greenville; his nephews, Clint Moore of Greenville and Garrett Moore (Ashleigh) of Rockwall; and his grandchildren, Christopher Stephens, Kyle Pierce, Kolten Pierce and Kirra Pierce.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home (5100 Interstate Hwy 30, Greenville, TX 75402).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made in his memory to Carter Blood Care.
