He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Pickle and John William Ballard, Sr.; his wife Helen Ballard; and his siblings, Tim Ballard, Wenonna Melton and Catherine Speight.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Quick (John) and Jason Ballard (Veronica); his grandchildren, Joseph Quick (Ashley), Shayna Ash (Brent), Chaz Ballard, Garett Ballard of Hayden Ballard, A. J and Calli Ballard; his great grandchildren, Addie Quick, Lawson Quick, Maggie Jo Quick and Mabel Ash; and his sister Genetty Childers. He is also survived by loving extended family and several friends.
