He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Paul and Turene Evelyn Torgeson Cariveau; his brother Paul Cariveau; his stepfather Vern Malafa; and his wife Remy Cariveau.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Cariveau (Sue), Renee Santiago (Tony), Ryan Cariveau (Susan) and Rocky Cariveau (Adrienne); and his sister Bonnie Egeland Uran (Bernard). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren with 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.
