He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Head and Clarine Head (McBride); and his siblings, Mary Knight and David Head of Rockdale. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Head (Lawson) of Celeste; his children, James Head (Jennie) of Greenville and Cynthia Cook (Mike) of Farmersville; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cook, Michael Cook, Elizabeth Bookout and Jacey; and his great grandchildren, Oaklynn Clark, Kate Yarbrough and Kyler Yarbrough.
