It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Ann Pickar in Greenville, Texas, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Plafcan and Bertha L. Plafcan (McDowell); her husband Jerome Pickar; her granddaughter Sonja Rae Pickar; and her brothers, William, Robert, Richard, Charles, Joseph and Andrew Plafcan.
She is survived by: her children, Jerome Pickar, Jr. of Quinlan, Ted Pickar of Ferris, Eddie Pickar and Renee Plumlee of Rockwall, Texas; and her sisters-in-law, Merlene Stepp of Chicago, Pat Kelsey of Caddo and Sandra Plafcan of Durant, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
