She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Smithart and Elree Elliott Smithart; her grandson Alex Moravitz (Mary Etta Raney); and her siblings-in-law, Billy Ray Raney, Paul David Raney and Linda Raney.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Lynn Raney of Greenville, TX; her son Kaleb Garcia; her daughter-in-law April Garcia of Rockwall, TX; her grandchildren, Adam Socolof, Piper Garcia and Regan Garcia; her great grandchild Amalia Socolof of Rockwall, TX.; her sister Elaine Newsome of Houston, TX; her niece Jennae Mangum; her nephew Brandon Mangum of Cypress, TX; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Raney of Pineland, TX and Sally Jo Raney of Houston, TX; and her siblings, Madelon Robbins of LaPorte, TX and Bobby Dale Raney of LaPorte, TX.. She is also survived by family and friends.
