He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey Thomas and Willene Boydston Thomas; and his brother Charles Thomas. He is survived by: his partner Karan Ellis; his children, Barry Dale Thomas (Kelley) of Cabot, James "Jay" Corrons (Saundra) of Conway, Arkansas and Rhonda Karyl Myers (Kelly) of Jefferson City, Missouri; and his brother Hoyt Thomas (Linda) of Heber Springs, Arkansas..

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Salem Kinser Methodist Church or the local food bank, Hunt County Shared Ministries.
