In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Doyle had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Doyle may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Thomas and Florence Green Woodall; and his wife Betty Norris. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Ottwell of Greenville and Cindy Tower (Randy) of Athens; his sister Evelyn Smiley of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Matt Ottwell (Lauren), Jordan Ottwell (Nicole) and Misty Fullwood (Jason). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home (5100 Interstate Hwy 30, Greenville, TX 75402). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home (5100 Interstate Hwy 30, Greenville, TX 75402).
