She is survived by : her children, Michael Heard (Dorothy) of Greenville, Hugh A. Pitts of Greenville, Debra Heard of Greenville, Charlotte Champion of Greenville, Paula Lawson (Victor) of Greenville, Sandra Pitts of Greenville, Jesslyn Hawkins of Greenville, Sharon Heard-Anthony of Forney and Shanita Pitts of Fort Worth. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 45 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (808 Wright St, Greenville, TX 75401).
